Hello!

I am a Postdoctoral Research Associate in the Department of Political Science at Brown University. I completed my Ph.D. in Applied Economics at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

I study how states exercise power in contexts of armed conflict and political violence, and how these interventions affect civilians and local communities. My research focuses on Latin America and examines the economic and political consequences of military presence, local political power, counterinsurgency strategies, and institutions in conflict-affected settings.
